Sandi Wants Apartment Management to Prevent Prostitution and Drug Trafficking

We will be strict to give sanction according to applicable law

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno asks apartment management to collect data of all its occupants and tenants. Collecting occupants and tenants data can anticipate negative activities such as drug trafficking and prostitution.

"We will be strict to give sanction according to applicable law. Thus flat or apartment residents and management should be careful when they rent its unit to other people," he affirmed, Wednesday (8/8).

Before leasing apartment unit, he continued, management and unit owner should know well its prospective tenants and ensure they are not involved in prostitution and drugs.

Related to this issue, Jakarta Government will be strict to anyone who are involved in drug trafficking both in apartment and flat.

"We want local residents to watch its neighborhood activities and be proactive to report this case to the authorities," he conveyed.
